I have uploaded my “Great Bicycle Towns” resource guide, and it is available for download! When I set out to make a resource guide for the “bicycle friendly” cities I visited, I decided to concentrate on the things I discovered along my journey.
Inside the guide you’ll not only find bicycle resources for Minneapolis, Madison, and Portland, but you’ll also get helpful hints, suggestions on things to do, and links to other resources. I especially focus on local collective bicycle shops, ways to support the local economy, where to stay if you are on a budget, and some good stopping destinations. There are also links to public transit websites for each city.

I hope to make this a growing resource guide, and plan to add resources and pictures from other towns I visit on my bike in the future. I’ll also add a few pages eventually for more national resources, and how anyone can get involved with bicycle advocacy.
Until then, enjoy the free resource guide!
