Why I'm raising money:
I'm participating in a bicycle tour that will not only be physically challenting (200 miles in a week by bike!), but will provide experiences and insights into sustainable living that I can bring back with me to Minnesota. While a portion of my trip is funded through a rebate through my college, transportation to and from Portland, bike rental, and needed support gear are not included in the rebate. I am looking to fundraise $800 for these expenses.
I will be taking Amtrak to Portland, OR, begining on July 24, then staying temporarily at the Northwest Hostel upon my arrival.
