Scott Schumacher, President and Lead Designer

Scott began designing websites in 1993, when the internet was in its beginning stages.  His first websites were for a small upstart internet service provider in Iowa City, Iowa, He successfully provided support documentation and software downloads for the ISP’s Mac users.

He spent 9 years as a Macintosh Specialist and IT Support Professional with businesses such as The Minnesota History Center, Imation Corp., American Family Insurance, the Milwaukee Children’s Hospital, and the Mayo Clinic.  During this time, he provided technical support to the company’s employees. Additionally, he designed web-based support and knowledgebase information for Macintosh and PC users, and specialized in assisting other departments (Printing and Publishing, Marketing and Exhibits, Corporate Communications, etc.).

Scott also has a passion for holistic health and wellness.  He earned a Massage Practitioner Certification and maintained a solo massage therapy practice in Minneapolis, MN, Madison, WI, and Duluth, MN from 1999 to 2006. As a solopreneur, he wore many hats in his massage therapy practice. He began coaching other small business owners and leveraged his website design experience by building websites for other holistic practitioners. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music (Voice), a Master’s Degree in Sport, Health, and Leisure studies, as well as certificates in Personal and Spiritual Life Coaching.

In his spare time he enjoys singing (as a classically trained tenor), tennis,blogging, learning about holistic and alternative medicine, genaology and history, enjoying great coffee, and spending weekends at a family cabin in Northern Minnesota.
