Yes, it’s been a while since I moved to Northfield (four months now I believe).  Now that I’m settled in, I thought it would be fun to host a fun gathering of friends at my apartment.

If Tara the android can feel fantastic all by herself, then any gathering of friends of mine, new or old, should bring the same result!

Some things that could happen at the party:

  • Massage Tables might come out (for Reiki demonstrations)
  • Crystal Singing Bowls could be played
  • Angel Tarot Cards may surface, and readings might commence
  • Smoothies, Daiquiris, and Drinks may be prepared
  • Healthy snacks and food can be shared
  • You can meet my health coach, Alisa, who may join us through Zoom for at time!
  • You could meet a new friend!

I wish I could invite everyone I know, but my place is only 950 square feet! However, it’s a wonderful “bachelor-pad-healing-space” that I’ve created for me and my wonder-dog, Junebug. We like it a lot, and I thought it would be good to host a gathering of my very diverse and eclectic bunch of friends. Junebug will unfortunately miss the party as she is overly protective of me and will be spending the night at a cabin in Northern Minnesota (because she’s a very lucky girl!). I’ll tell her all the fun stories when she returns!

From the South Side of Northfield, Dundas, or Faribault
Head North on HWY 3 into Northfield
Turn RIGHT onto Jefferson Parkway
At the 2nd intersection, turn RIGHT onto Roosevelt Dr
Turn RIGHT into Woodridge Apartments (Driveway just after Truman)
My building is the first one to your right as you come in the driveway
(Look for 1900 on the building’s entrance)

From the North Side of Northfield, Apple Valley, or coming in off of I-35 on Exit 69:
Once in Northfield, take HWY 3 going South toward Dundas
Turn LEFT onto Jefferson Parkway (a couple stoplights after downtown)
At the 2nd intersection, turn RIGHT onto Roosevelt Dr
Turn RIGHT into Woodridge Apartments (Driveway just after Truman)
My building is the first one to your right as you come in the driveway
(Look for 1900 on the building’s entrance)

You can call if you get lost too! I will hopefully be able to guide you! No one will shame you!

What should I bring?

You are not required to bring anything but yourself and a friendly attitude!  However, if you wish, you may bring:

  • Any food, beverage, snack, or your favorite recipe you’ve been dying to share (I’ll have some healthy snacks and finger food provided).
  • Your own wine, beer, etc, or anything for mixing drinks (I’ll have soda and non-alcoholic beverages, ice, cups, and a limited supply of alcoholic bevs).   Again, you can share beverages, or just bring whatever you like for you. (I love wine, and a good Reisling however!).
  • A folding chair or two if you have them!  I would love for everyone to have a comfortable chair to sit in, but I have only 10 – 12 seating spots I believe.  I have yoga mats for the floor, but I’m not counting those.
  • A friend if you wish, but remember I don’t live in a big house!  (Though crowded rooms could be fun.. who knows).  Bring an adult friend who loves a range of people (my friends are of every stripe – athletes, techies, artists, healers, young and not so young, LGBTQ folks, liberal to conservative, all different beliefs, but all really great!  The mix makes it interesting!)

Unfortunately, my place is not as kid-friendly as it could be, plus it’s a party, so adults only please! 

My building, including balconies and property is also Smoke Free!

The building has a green front, and a doggie waste bag station in front of it. Imagine this picture without the snow on the ground!
